Headspace Psychologist / Mental Health Social Worker (Private Practice)

About the role

EACH is seeking registered Psychologists and Social Workers to provide private‑practice services for young people (12‑25) referred to headspace Port Macquarie. The role is contract‑based with flexible days and hours, allowing you to maintain existing work while supporting the community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard, person‑centred counselling and focused psychological strategies to young clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses and administration, to coordinate care.
• Utilise provided administrative support, web‑based medical records and IT assistance.
• Access co‑located General Practitioners and psychiatry services as needed.

Required profile

• Full AHPRA (Psychology) or AASW (Social Work) registration with unrestricted practice rights.
• Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule services.
• Willingness to provide current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Own professional indemnity insurance, ABN and appropriate equipment.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa.
