Regulatory Response Manager

About the role

The Regulatory Response Manager will support Australian Payments Plus in maintaining a strong compliance posture and responding to key regulatory matters. You will coordinate regulatory response activities from planning through to submission, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and robust governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory response activities, including planning, evidence gathering, review, self‑assessment and submission coordination.
• Provide risk and compliance advice to stakeholders on regulatory obligations, especially when designing and implementing initiatives.
• Maintain strong records, controls and governance to support regulatory requests and commitments.
• Analyse information, issues and trends to produce accurate, consistent and defensible regulatory responses.

Required profile

• Experience supporting or managing regulatory responses, compliance matters or regulatory commitments in a regulated environment such as financial services or payments.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and communicate issues clearly.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail when managing evidence, records and reporting.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in risk, compliance, governance or a related discipline; professional certification is desirable.
