Registry Officer

About the role

Caruso is seeking a Registry Officer to join its Sydney team. You will manage investor onboarding, maintain the investor registry, and execute capital activities for private market funds, working closely with accounting, legal, and implementation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate investor onboarding documentation, including AML/KYC, for AU/NZ jurisdictions.
• Maintain accurate investor registers with updates to personal/company details, tax residency, banking instructions, and reporting preferences.
• Support end‑to‑end execution of capital calls, distributions, transfers, and unit issues/redemptions, preparing investor notices and updating records.
• Generate and send investor correspondence such as transaction notices, holding statements, and ad‑hoc letters.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CTF laws, FATCA/CRS requirements, and trust deed or PDS specifications; support audits.
• Track tasks and workflows, flag delays, and collaborate with other teams to resolve issues.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a registry, investor services, or unit registry role, preferably in fund administration.
• Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements in Australia and New Zealand.
• Experience handling investor capital activity workflows and maintaining investor registers.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Self‑starter who enjoys process improvement and takes ownership of work.

Required skills

• Familiarity with registry platforms or transfer agency systems.
