Registered Nurse (Wards) - Casual, NSW, QLD, SA, WA, VIC

About the role

This is a casual Registered Nurse position in acute care settings, advertised across NSW, QLD, SA, WA and VIC. The nurse provides patient-centred care in medical and surgical wards, critical care units and theatres, working flexibly across several client sites. The role suits international nurses who hold or are working towards AHPRA registration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualised, patient-centred care in an acute care setting, maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
• Deliver nursing care in medical and surgical wards, supporting patients through treatment and recovery.
• Work in critical care settings such as ICU, CCU and HDU, providing advanced monitoring and life-saving interventions.
• Assist in theatres in anaesthesia, recovery and scrub/scout roles, ensuring patient safety during surgery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across healthcare facilities.
• Adapt to different environments and work flexibly across multiple locations with clients.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration (current or in progress as an IQNM).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a preferred specialty.
• Full working rights in Australia (subclass 417/462 WHV).
• Vaccinations meeting state requirements.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
