Part-Time Aged Care Speech Pathologist

About the role

Food Solutions Diet Consultants, a national provider of dietetics and speech pathology services to residential aged care and community clients, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support residential aged care homes across the Mackay region on a part-time basis. The role offers autonomy over your schedule (no weekends), reporting to the National Speech Pathology Manager and collaboration within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia, or eligible
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Ability to manage dysphagia and adult communication needs, or willingness to develop these skills as a new graduate
• Effective communication with residents, families and facility teams, and efficient organisation of caseload and documentation
