Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Yamanto Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer immunisations, injections and perform ECGs.
• Conduct triage, wound management, chronic disease management and health assessments.
• Explain procedures to patients, provide reassurance and education for home care.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate treatment‑room activities: stock control, instrument sterilisation, equipment maintenance and infection‑control practices.
• Provide reception and practice‑management assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Caring, collaborative approach with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Proven multitasking, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Familiarity with Best Practice programs and health‑assessment documentation.
