Registered Nurse – Permanent Pool

About the role
The Permanent Pool provides a flexible nursing workforce for the Royal Hobart Hospital and Repatriation Centre. As a Registered Nurse in this pool you will support a variety of inpatient services, respond to staffing surges, and contribute to patient safety across the hospital.
Key responsibilities
- Work across multiple inpatient areas on a flexible, dynamic schedule.
- Respond to staffing needs, surge demand and clinical priorities.
- Support hospital transfers and MET/CODE Blue emergencies.
- Maintain high standards of patient care in line with NMBA regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement and evidence‑based practice.
