Registered Nurse – Medical Assistance (Contract)

About the role

Allianz Partners is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join its Medical Assistance team in Brisbane. You will provide patient‑centred care remotely, using telehealth and digital case‑management tools to support travellers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver telephonic clinical advice to travellers experiencing health concerns abroad.
• Manage end‑to‑end medical assistance cases, including assessment, documentation and coordination of care globally.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and non‑clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of digitally enabled workflows.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an Emergency Department.
• Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, APLS highly regarded).
• Professional, empathetic telephone communication style and strong written documentation skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Flexibility to work hybrid – at least two days per week in the Brisbane office.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
• Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) certification.
