Casual Veterinary Receptionist

About the role

Join VicVet as a Casual Veterinary Receptionist, providing the first point of contact for clients and ensuring smooth daily operations in a busy, purpose‑built hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage incoming phone calls, emails and appointment bookings.
• Process payments, manage accounts and maintain accurate patient records.
• Handle emergency enquiries and direct cases appropriately.
• Support communication between clients and clinical teams and follow cleaning protocols each shift.

Required profile

• Previous veterinary reception experience (preferred).
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Calm, compassionate and organised, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Confidence using computer systems and learning new software.
• Experience with EzyVet or similar veterinary practice management software.
