Registered Nurse Level 2 – Cardiac & Heart Rehab

About the role

Join the Cardiac and Heart Function Rehabilitation Program at Canberra Health Services as a Registered Nurse Level 2. You will provide person‑centred care to patients with cardiovascular disease and heart failure across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care, including assessment, education, support and counselling.
• Assist patients in managing their condition and achieving rehabilitation goals.
• Promote evidence‑based self‑management strategies throughout hospital admission, post‑discharge recovery and the rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, safe patient care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse Level 2 (P42841) qualification.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday business hours with no weekend or public holiday shifts.
• Ability to undergo a pre‑employment National Police Check and comply with occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policies.
• Motivated, patient‑focused attitude and strong communication skills.
