Registered Nurse

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Sussex Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive patient care in a general practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document health history, administer medications and provide patient education.
• Perform immunisations, triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Assist with care plans, health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate treatment room activities including stock control, sterilisation and equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection control practices and assist with reception and practice management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Current Police Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient‑centred approach.
• Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Strong multitasking, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Immunisation administration and other injection techniques.
• Clinical triage and wound management.
• Chronic disease management and ECG performance.
• Use of Best Practice software (preferred).
• Development and documentation of care plans and health assessments.
