Registered Nurse

About the role

Doctors and Co. is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Mittagong Doctors team. This full‑time casual role supports the practice during a maternity leave, providing comprehensive patient care in a collaborative general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document health histories and administer medications.
• Perform immunisations, injections, triage, wound management and chronic disease management.
• Conduct ECGs and explain procedures to patients, offering support and reassurance.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage treatment‑room logistics: stock control, sterilisation, equipment maintenance and infection‑control practices.
• Provide reception and practice‑management assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and a valid Police Check.
• Working with Children clearance and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Professional, compassionate and urgent approach to patient care.

Required skills

• ECG operation.
• Proficiency with Best Practice clinical software.
