Registered Nurse – General Practice (Part‑Time/Full‑Time)

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the team at Vincentia Bay Medical. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record health histories and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications, immunisations and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide reassurance and support to patients.
• Assist with care plans, health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage treatment‑room logistics: stock control, sterilisation, equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection‑control practices and assist with reception duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Valid police check, First Aid/CPR certificate and immunisation record.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork and multitasking abilities.
• Professional, compassionate approach with a sense of urgency.
