Registered Nurse – General Practice

About the role

Doctors and Co. is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Mulwaree Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive primary‑care services to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, discuss symptoms, document health histories and administer medications.
• Provide immunisations, injections, triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, support patients with information and reassurance.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate the treatment room – stock control, sterilisation, equipment maintenance and infection control.
• Assist with reception and practice‑management duties as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and at least 1 year GP experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient‑centred attitude.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems quickly and manage time effectively.
• Current police check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate, immunisation record and valid photo ID.

• Proficiency with Best Practice software.
• ECG performance and interpretation.
• Use of telehealth platforms.
• Medication and immunisation administration.
• Clinical documentation and infection‑control practices.
