Medical Practitioner – Contrast Supervision (Casual)

About the role

Canberra Imaging is seeking qualified Medical Practitioners to provide on‑site clinical support during contrast administration by radiographers at our Goulburn facility. This casual position is ideal for doctors in specialist training or those interested in medical imaging who need flexible work within a focused scope of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the administration of contrast agents by radiographers.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene promptly.
• Provide immediate clinical response to anaphylaxis or other emergencies.
• Document contrast procedures and outcomes in accordance with clinical standards.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Valid professional indemnity insurance.
• Up‑to‑date Anaphylaxis and CPR certifications.
• Interest in medical imaging and ability to work flexibly on a casual basis.
