Registered Nurse – Full‑time

About the role

Join the supportive clinical team at Respect Ingham Lodge as a full‑time Registered Nurse. You will provide safe, competent, and person‑centred nursing care to aged‑care residents, helping create moments of comfort, dignity, and joy.

Key responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive resident histories and conduct ongoing assessments.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
• Provide direct clinical care, including personal hygiene, pain management, massage therapy, and participation in GP rounds.
• Administer medications in line with organisational policies and ensure proper ordering, storage, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional resident outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and colleagues.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Understanding of government standards, legislative requirements, and the aged‑care accreditation process.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
