About the role

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic, patient‑centred nursing care to approximately 1,700 individuals.
• Deliver primary health, emergency and chronic disease management within a secure setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams and correctional staff to support rehabilitation and reintegration.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to strict security and compliance protocols.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years post‑graduate nursing experience, preferably in primary health, emergency or rural settings.
• Commitment to ethical, patient‑centred care and ability to work in a correctional environment.
• Willingness and ability to complete required medical, police, drug and alcohol checks.
• Australian working rights or New Zealand citizenship (no visa sponsorship).
