Registered Nurse – Casual Position

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Maroubra Doctors team on a casual basis. In this role you will work closely with physicians and practice staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record health histories and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer immunisations, injections and other medications.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide support and education for home care.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage treatment room logistics including stock control, sterilisation and equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection control practices and assist with reception and practice management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and manage time effectively.
• Current Police Check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certification and valid photo ID.
