Registered Nurse – Aged Care

About the role

Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in its aged‑care residences across Australia. You will work within a supportive team to promote positive health outcomes for residents while upholding the organisation’s values and clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, monitor vital signs and manage medications.
• Assess, treat and manage wounds, ensuring infection prevention.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using the eCase system.
• Identify and address pain using appropriate management strategies.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide end‑of‑life palliative support.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration (essential).
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate and eager to learn.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration and professional communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the eCase clinical documentation platform.
• Medication management competency.
• Wound management expertise.
