Regional General Manager – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

Salter Brothers Hospitality is seeking an experienced Regional General Manager to lead a cluster of luxury hotels and retreats in the Blue Mountains. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide strategic direction and hands‑on leadership to maximise performance across multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight and hands‑on leadership for all properties in the region.
• Drive alignment with SBH’s strategic goals, brand standards and values.
• Champion exceptional guest experiences and protect the luxury brand.
• Mentor and develop emerging leaders, fostering a culture of capability.
• Own regional P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and financial accountability.
• Analyse performance data to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.
• Act as the primary liaison between property teams, Central Services and senior leadership.
• Lead local marketing initiatives to strengthen brand awareness.
• Maintain and evolve operational standards while safeguarding physical assets.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary education in Business, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience in a luxury environment.
• Proven experience managing a cluster, area or multi‑hotel portfolio.
• Strong background in Food & Beverage operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams across multiple units.
• Solid P&L ownership, budgeting and strategic leadership experience.
