About the role
A GP-owned mixed-billing clinic in Carseldine Village, North Brisbane, is recruiting experienced reception staff with a background in General Practice. The clinic opens on 1st May 2026 and is described as being built by GPs for GPs, with no corporate management and full clinical and billing autonomy. The role suits people who want to work in a modern, well-run, non-corporate environment.
Key responsibilities
- Patient bookings and front-desk coordination
- Billing, payments and Medicare processing
- Administration, correspondence and workflow support
Required profile
- Previous experience in a GP clinic; previous GP experience is stated as essential
- Strong knowledge of Best Practice and Medicare billing
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
- Good communication skills and teamwork
What we offer
- Pay of $32 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time or casual hours, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, no evenings or weekends
