Receptionist-Concierge, Medical Visa Services

About the role

Bupa Medical Visa Services Adelaide is looking for a Receptionist-Concierge to be the first point of contact for customers at its Visa Medical Assessment Centre. The role guides customers through the medical assessment process, explains what they need to do and why, and creates a welcoming, professional experience. It is a part-time position of 30.4 hours per week, with a weekday rotational roster and weekend availability; no late nights, overnight shifts or public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Complete identity and security checks, escalating risks when required.
• Check and process customer documents, forms and EFTPOS payments.
• Confirm required examinations and explain the process clearly.
• Maintain accurate customer records and guide customers through each stage of their assessment.

Required profile

• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a busy, structured environment.
• Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Sound computer skills and the ability to follow procedures, standards and targets.
