Receptionist, Administration & Retail

About the role

OHM Electronics is a locally owned marine business in Broome, WA, operating a busy retail shop and workshop that supplies marine electronics, Mercury outboards, boating accessories and marine chandlery, and also provides installations, servicing and repairs. It is looking for a friendly, organised and motivated person for a varied, fast-paced role combining customer service, retail sales and office administration.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Manage customer enquiries, bookings and job scheduling
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails
• Assist customers with retail sales and product enquiries
• Maintain stock levels, organise stock and keep shop displays tidy
• Assist with ordering parts and supplies
• Communicate with workshop staff and customers regarding jobs
• Provide general office and administrative support

Required profile

• Organised, reliable and takes initiative
• Positive attitude and enjoys solving problems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Confident coordinating jobs, staff and customer bookings
• Interest in boats and the marine industry; marine industry experience is not required
• Team player who is happy to help wherever needed

Required skills

• Confident with computers and technology (Apple experience a bonus)
• Able to multitask and stay organised in a busy environment
