Administration Officer

About the role

Broome International Airport (BIA), a privately owned commercial airport serving the Kimberley region of Western Australia, is looking for an Administration Officer. The role is the welcoming face of the airport and the central point of contact for clients, team members and external partners, giving them a warm, professional first impression and guiding them to the right place.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and coordinate appointments
• Provide high-quality administrative support so operations run smoothly
• Handle day-to-day office tasks
• Ensure seamless communication across teams

Required profile

• Prior customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Current C Class manual driver's licence
• Ability to obtain Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) checks and comply with the airport's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP)

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong computer skills
