Project Manager - New Product Introduction (ANZ)

About the role

Haleon, a global consumer health company, is looking for a Project Manager to join its ANZ team on a fixed-term contract through to April 2027, starting as soon as possible. The role champions the ANZ new product introduction and project management processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver innovation on time and in full, and builds project management capability across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across innovation and new product introduction, setting scope, timelines, governance and accountabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on decision-making, contingency planning, issue resolution and delivery.
• Facilitate joint planning sessions to align teams around project scope and market delivery.
• Track milestones, dependencies and risks, keeping local and global stakeholders aligned.
• Identify potential roadblocks early and facilitate practical solutions.
• Influence across a matrix organisation through stakeholder management, negotiation and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement by challenging duplication and unnecessary complexity.
• Work closely with project and category leads so ANZ requirements and deliverables are met, and support important cross-functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial and/or project management environment, ideally in FMCG or retail.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Ability to lead, influence and energise cross-functional teams, including stakeholders you do not directly manage.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in a complex, matrix environment and the ability to challenge and hold others accountable.
• Australian work rights are required.

Required skills

• Ideal: experience with traditional project management and/or Agile principles.
• Ideal: experience with Supply Chain or Supply organisations, OTC, consumer healthcare or FMCG.
• Ideal: experience reporting and presenting to management, and with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Ideal: a tertiary business qualification or professional project management qualification.
