Quality Manager – Pharmaceuticals & Clinical Trial Supply

About the role

Join a specialist pharmaceutical sourcing and clinical‑trial supply business operating across Australia, Singapore, Japan and New Zealand. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain & Quality, you will own day‑to‑day Quality operations and lead a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop two Quality team members, setting priorities and providing guidance.
• Own and maintain the Quality Management System, including procedures, deviations, CAPA and continuous improvement.
• Plan and coordinate internal audits and support external audits.
• Oversee supplier qualification, audits and quality agreements.
• Provide Quality oversight across pharmaceutical sourcing, storage and distribution through external partners.
• Support assessment and resolution of temperature excursions, traceability issues and other product quality concerns.

Required profile

• Strong experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, preferably within clinical‑trial supply or distribution.
• People‑management experience with the ability to guide a small team.
• Confidence to take ownership, exercise sound judgement and work independently.
• Commercially aware approach balancing compliance and operational needs.

Required skills

• Management of QMS, CAPA, deviations and audits.
• Supplier qualification and quality agreement handling.
• Understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Wholesaling Practice (GWP).
• Familiarity with outsourced GMP packaging and labelling activities.
