Qualified Electrician – Full-time in Ipswich

About the role

We are looking for a fully qualified Electrical Tradesperson to join our BSE Services Australia team in Ipswich. The role is full‑time and involves delivering commercial, government, infrastructure, industrial and hazardous‑area electrical services.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair and install electrical equipment.
• Build and fit‑out control panels and switchboards.
• Carry out small‑ and large‑scale project work.
• Diagnose faults and perform efficient repairs.
• Maintain accurate job records.
• Work independently and collaboratively while complying with Australian Standards.

Required profile

• Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence.
• Current Australian manual driver’s licence.
• White Card and Working with Children Blue Card.
• Current CPR/LVR certification.
• Good knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018.
• Minimum two years of trade experience.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Working at Heights certification (advantageous).
• Experience with Simpro Job Management System (advantageous).

Required skills

• Electrical equipment servicing, maintenance, repair and installation.
• Control panel and switchboard construction.
• Fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018 standards.
• Use of Simpro Job Management System (optional).
