QA/QC Coordinator – Battery Energy Storage Project

About the role

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator with an electrical background to support a Battery Energy Storage System project in the Pilbara. The role operates on a 2:1 FIFO roster and involves both off‑site and on‑site quality management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in implementing and improving project quality systems.
• Perform inspections, coordinate MDR collation, and ensure QA/QC compliance across all project phases.
• Develop, review, and sign off Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and manage witness and hold points.
• Complete Inspection Test Records (ITRs) in line with approved ITPs and systemisation matrices.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) from identification through investigation to close‑out.
• Compile, review, and submit Manufacturing Data Records (MDRs) ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain traceability systems, produce quality reports, and support audits.
• Facilitate the use of project tools such as MCATS, WTS, and Cintellate.
• Oversee calibration and readiness of inspection and testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Coordinator or Inspector in construction or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of testing requirements, ITPs, ITRs, and NCR processes.
• Possession of a WA Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain s26).
• Ability to work independently in high‑pressure FIFO environments.
