QA Engineer – Sustainable Building Materials

About the role

Join Holcim's HumesKey business as a Quality Assurance Engineer supporting a major infrastructure project in Ipswich, Queensland. You will ensure that daily production meets Australian and Main Roads standards while driving continuous improvement across the QA system.

Key responsibilities

• Administer site quality requirements and maintain QA system compliance.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Generate weekly reports to track QSI costs and product compliance.
• Develop and manage the QA schedule and coordinate with maintenance supervisors for mould set‑up.
• Verify inventory accuracy and ensure new products meet relevant standards.
• Collaborate with leading hands and supervisors to confirm product dimensions, finish, and inventory compliance.
• Conduct materials testing to verify specifications.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Quality Control or relevant Engineering disciplines.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical or Civil Engineering principles.
• Practical experience in the prestressed, precast, or reinforced concrete industry.
