Purina Territory Sales Manager - South Australia

About the role

Purina is looking for a focused Sales Professional to own its territory covering South Adelaide, Riverland and surrounding districts, driving sales, distribution and growth. The team serves a mix of customers including independent grocers, corporate and independent specialty retailers, and multi-site operators. The role suits an ambitious, well-presented person with a passion for pets and previous sales experience.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate in-store training sessions for sales staff on Purina products and nutritional solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers and key internal contacts
• Deliver customer sales through the Field Sales Cycle Plan
• Drive shopper engagement through shelf and merchandising strategies
• Meet sales KPIs and seek out new business opportunities

The territory is large, and you will spend time on the road about 3 nights away from home over a 4-week cycle.

Required profile

• Outgoing, commercially savvy, with a can-do attitude and a passion for the products
• Ideally a completed degree in Commerce, Business or Marketing
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid, unrestricted Australian driver's licence
• Full Australian working rights; pre-employment checks including health checks are required

• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI skills
