Psychologist (Part‑time, Perth)

About the role

Join Healthcare Australia’s multidisciplinary team in Perth to provide essential mental health and wellbeing support to individuals in immigration detention. Working one day per week on‑site, you will deliver evidence‑based psychological assessments and interventions while collaborating with nurses, GPs and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement psychological support programmes and monitoring plans for detainees.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote positive mental health outcomes across the facility.

Required profile

• Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 5 years post‑registration experience in assessment and intervention.
• Experience working with culturally diverse clients and complex psychosocial needs.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality and continuous improvement.
