Property Officer – Property & Asset Management

About the role

Join a dedicated Property & Assets team supporting residential and commercial properties across seven regions. This role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to build strong stakeholder relationships while supporting continuous improvement in property management practices.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage residential and commercial lease agreements, including documentation, bonds and property inspections.
• Organise maintenance and repair works, engaging contractors and following up across urban and remote properties.
• Maintain accurate property and accommodation records, including allocation, utilisation and reporting.
• Liaise with landlords, contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of repairs, maintenance and minor works.
• Monitor outstanding property issues, support planned maintenance programs and escalate risks or delays as required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Property Management or a related field within residential and/or commercial environments.
• Minimum two years’ experience in residential or commercial property management.
• Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999 or ability to quickly acquire it.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and cross‑cultural engagement skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• A current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to remote and regional areas, including 4WD and small aircraft.
