Property Officer

About the role

Join a dedicated Property & Assets team supporting the management of residential and commercial properties across seven regions. This role involves coordinating lease agreements, maintenance, and ensuring compliance while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage residential and commercial lease agreements, including documentation, bonds and property inspections.
• Organise maintenance and repair works, engage contractors and follow‑up across urban and remote properties.
• Maintain accurate property and accommodation records, allocation, utilisation and reporting.
• Liaise with landlords, contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of repairs and minor works.
• Monitor outstanding property issues, support planned maintenance programs and escalate risks or delays.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Property Management or a related field.
• Minimum two years’ experience in residential or commercial property management.
• Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999 or ability to quickly acquire it.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and cross‑cultural engagement skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to remote and regional areas, including 4WD and small aircraft.
