Property Leasing Officer - Residential

About the role

A growing residential property management team in Reservoir, Victoria is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Property Leasing and Inspections Officer. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone wanting to build a long-term career in real estate and property management. The role works closely with senior property managers, leasing consultants and administrative staff to keep service standards, compliance and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and conducting routine property inspections
• Prepare entry and condition reports using property management software
• Identify, document and report maintenance issues found during inspections
• Coordinate maintenance requests with contractors and internal teams
• Support leasing activities such as open homes and application processing
• Act as a point of contact for tenant enquiries about leasing and property condition
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, leases and tenant communications
• Ensure compliance with residential tenancy legislation and company procedures

Required profile

• Strong interest in building a career in real estate and property management
• Background in the service industry (hospitality, retail, customer service) highly preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Highly organised, with strong time management and attention to detail
• Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow in a structured property management environment
• Valid driver's licence
• Willingness to obtain a valid Agent's Representative Certificate

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with property management software is an advantage but not required
