Project Scheduler - Hybrid Power Facilities

About the role

Aggreko is looking for a Project Scheduler in Brisbane to join its Hybrid Power Facility team. The role covers the planning, scheduling and coordination of hybrid power solutions that combine thermal (diesel/gas), solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS). It is key to delivering complex power generation projects on time while keeping interdependencies between energy components in check and meeting technical specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths across technologies such as solar farm installation, BESS deployment and thermal generation setup.
• Coordinate scheduling requirements across all phases, from initial design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Integrate schedules from different disciplines and contractors so that execution is seamless and downtime is minimised.
• Work with engineering, procurement and construction teams and hybrid power solution experts to keep schedules accurate and feasible.
• Monitor progress against baselines, flagging variances, potential delays and resource conflicts.
• Prepare and share regular schedule reports, progress updates and look-ahead plans with project management, clients and technical teams.
• Keep scheduling aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements and Aggreko's quality and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project scheduling or coordination, ideally in power generation, renewable energy or large-scale industrial projects.
• Familiarity with the project lifecycle of energy facilities, including construction, commissioning and grid connection.
• Experience with hybrid power solutions (solar, BESS, thermal) is highly advantageous.
• Ability to manage complex interdependencies in multi-component projects.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

• Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
