Project Manager I - Education and Defence Projects, Queensland

About the role

Bureau Veritas is looking for experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead Education and Defence projects across regional Queensland (Cairns, Townsville and/or Rockhampton). You will lead projects from concept through to completion, working with industry-leading clients and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to completion
• Lead multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams
• Manage budgets, programmes and project risks
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
• Contribute to the growth of Bureau Veritas across regional Queensland

Required profile

• Experience in client-side project management, construction management or project delivery
• A background delivering building, infrastructure, education, government or defence projects is ideal
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Property or a related discipline
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants and contractors
