Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Jervis Bay

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking motivated Project Managers to support its Defence and Security business in Jervis Bay, delivering strategic sustainment programmes across Southern New South Wales. The role offers early‑to‑mid‑career professionals the chance to work on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from initiation through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support project delivery across all lifecycle stages: initiation, planning, design, construction, and closure.
• Develop design concepts and assist in procurement activities in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
• Monitor on‑site construction activities and ensure compliance with Defence standards.
• Prepare project documentation and reporting in accordance with Defence requirements.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Eligibility to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
• Experience supporting project delivery, preferably within the defence or broader government sector.

Required skills

• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 or Agile.
