About the role
AECOM is seeking a senior Highways Project Leader to manage the Bruce Highway program and other complex infrastructure projects across North Queensland. The role is client‑facing, overseeing delivery, stakeholder engagement and business development.
Key responsibilities
- Lead project management of complex road and highway infrastructure works.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders and contractors to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage schedules, budgets and financial performance.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in design and project management, preferably in road design.
- Proven ability to lead large, complex projects and manage multiple concurrent programmes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required skills
- Road design expertise (TMR experience preferred).
- Project management methodologies and tools.
