Project Manager - Metropolitan Aggregates

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Metropolitan Aggregates operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role manages project outcomes, coordinates resources and ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. You will work closely with operational teams, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to execution and completion.
• Coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and deliverables.
• Support operational teams so projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers and clients.
• Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and operational requirements.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts and updates for stakeholders.
• Support capital works, infrastructure upgrades and site improvement projects across the network.

Required profile

• Demonstrated project management experience in quarrying, construction materials, mining, civil construction or heavy industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating project resources.
• Full Australian work rights and the ability to attend site.
