Project Manager – Hybrid (Sydney)

About the role

W. H. Symons Consulting is seeking a full‑time Project Manager to join its Sydney team. This hybrid position combines on‑site presence with remote work, focusing on delivering high‑quality project outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.
• Manage project timelines, logistics and expediting activities to keep milestones on track.
• Track progress, prepare status reports and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, identify and mitigate risks and issues, and oversee inspection activities as required.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to support successful delivery.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring and closing.
• Background in expediting, inspection coordination and logistics management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site and remote tasks.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Advanced use of MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply‑chain coordination.
