Project Manager – Commercial Fit‑out & Refurbishment

About the role

The company is a Brisbane‑based design and construct firm delivering commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to own projects from planning through to completion, working closely with internal teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage construction programmes and procurement schedules.
• Procure materials and subcontractors in coordination with the project team.
• Ensure full compliance with WHS requirements throughout the project.
• Maintain project quality plans and uphold required standards.
• Lead weekly site and project meetings and prepare regular project reports.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and resolve issues, risks and challenges as they arise.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the fit‑out and refurbishment industry.
• Proven delivery of commercial fit‑out projects valued between $500k‑$5M.
• Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering, or a relevant trade qualification with further industry education.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Dynamic, passionate, team‑oriented approach with a practical problem‑solving mindset.
