Project Engineer - Structural Remediation

About the role

SRG Global's Asset Remediation division is looking for a Project Engineer to help deliver specialised structural repair, strengthening and remediation projects across New South Wales. The work covers a varied portfolio including marine infrastructure, bridges and industrial assets, with exposure to structurally complex tasks such as structural strengthening, concrete repair, cathodic protection and innovative remediation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project documentation including methodologies, QA/QC, safety, environmental and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical support to project teams, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings and project requirements.
• Monitor construction activities, progress and performance through site inspections, audits and KPI reporting.
• Manage RFIs, TQs and technical queries, identifying practical and efficient construction solutions.
• Assist the Project Manager with project planning, delivery, procurement, cost control and resource coordination.
• Coordinate surveying activities, quantity assessments and project controls.
• Maintain project records, registers and QA/QC testing programs.
• Support tender preparation through quantity take-offs, documentation and constructability reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience on civil or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in effective HSEQ management.

Required skills

• Confident use of a range of project software.
