Project Engineer

About the role

ICON Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to support both Brownfield and Greenfield offshore infrastructure, drilling rig/platform, and equipment design projects. You will develop project management skills under the guidance of experienced project managers while contributing to the delivery of design, sub‑contractor, and offshore installation scopes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project managers on offshore infrastructure and field development projects.
• Deliver discrete work packages, including design, sub‑contractor coordination, and offshore installation.
• Support planning and execution phases of offshore projects where required.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified engineer (structural or mechanical).
• 5+ years post‑graduate engineering experience, with at least 3 years in oil and gas.
• Proven ability to deliver design and installation packages.
• Familiarity with offshore codes and specifications; knowledge of DNV, API and AISC is desirable.
• Understanding of design and fabrication processes, on‑shore construction, offshore transportation and installation methods.
