Project Engineer

About the role

Parkview is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead quality and design coordination on high‑profile construction projects. You will ensure that design intent, quality standards, and technical details are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures.
• Identify issues, develop solutions and implement corrective actions.
• Review subcontractor quality documentation, checklists and on‑site work for compliance.
• Oversee commissioning and testing activities to ensure they meet service specifications.
• Facilitate resolution of design and coordination issues among clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Manage the flow of technical information between design disciplines and stakeholders.
• Guide the design team to keep work aligned with programme and documentation schedules.
• Check tender packages for scope, product usage and design logic where applicable.
• Provide technical support to all project team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Strong understanding of quality and design for structures, services, finishes and facades.
• Proven experience on large‑scale ($40M+) high‑rise residential projects.
• Familiarity with the Sydney construction market, subcontractors and consultants.
• Proactive problem‑solving, clear communication and collaborative approach.
