Project Coordinator – Transport Technology

About the role

You will join the team delivering the Bus Solution package of the Opal Next Generation (ONG) program, supporting the TfNSW ONG Bus System project by keeping activities organised, on track, and well connected across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities across workstreams, track actions, milestones and dependencies.
• Maintain core project artefacts such as schedules, action registers, RAID logs, decision logs and status reports.
• Support PMO governance, reporting cycles, steering committee materials and change control processes.
• Facilitate Indigenous Engagement by organising meetings, maintaining registers and ensuring culturally appropriate reporting.
• Assist with financial tracking, invoicing, budget forecasts and commercial administration.
• Provide stakeholder and communications coordination, including meeting facilitation and material preparation.

Required profile

• Experience supporting complex projects or programmes, preferably in government, transport or technology environments.
• Strong organisational, coordination and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured delivery environment.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and awareness of Aboriginal cultural protocols.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and PMO concepts.
• Proficiency with project tools, document management and reporting systems.
• Experience supporting stakeholder or community engagement activities.
