About the role
The Program Manager will lead the delivery and operationalisation of the new Woodford Youth Detention Centre. Working closely with the Program Director and work‑stream leads, you will ensure that organisational, cultural and operational initiatives are coordinated and ready for launch.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight and coordination across approximately 25 concurrent initiatives.
- Manage integrated scheduling, governance, reporting, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and inter‑dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks, sequencing issues and operational challenges.
- Deliver evidence‑based advice to senior leaders and governance forums on program delivery, operational readiness and risk management.
- Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to governance, integration and delivery approaches.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing complex, non‑ICT programmes with multiple workstreams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment and maintain programme discipline.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with senior stakeholders.
