Professional Electrical Engineer

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical design and delivery across transportation, infrastructure, ports and maritime projects in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and integration of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety, reliability and Australian standards.
• Prepare professional reports, proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and manage project risks, including environmental and safety considerations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of infrastructure project experience.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and business development abilities.
• Proven ability to deliver large‑scale transport or urban projects on time and within budget.
