Production Supervisor – Mackay City

About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our Mackay laboratory and nearby port. The role leads day‑to‑day operations, planning and supervision of teams that prepare and test coal samples for our mining clients.

Key responsibilities

• Rostering staff and scheduling work to meet client timeliness and quality requirements.
• Ensuring safety, quality and reporting requirements are fully satisfied.
• Creating a positive team culture focused on training and teamwork.
• Supervising, coaching and training the Preparation Team.
• Participating in ongoing process‑improvement programmes.

Required profile

• Experience in sample preparation or laboratory work.
• Supervisory experience (desirable).
• Ability to meet productivity targets and client turnaround times.
• Queensland C‑class manual driver’s licence and own transport.
• Residency in the Mackay region; no FIFO.
