Production Operator – Precast Concrete

About the role

Join the precast concrete manufacturing team delivering tunnel segments for South Australia’s largest infrastructure project. You will work in a dynamic production environment where safety, quality and teamwork are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and inspect moulds before production runs.
• Assist with placement and fixing of reinforcement and embedded components.
• Pour, place and vibrate concrete according to specifications.
• Operate production equipment and support concrete finishing activities.
• Demould, handle and inspect completed concrete segments for defects.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area and report any non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing, precast concrete, construction or a similar hands‑on environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures and production schedules.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts and overtime as needed.

Required skills

• Concrete placement and mould preparation.
• Reinforcement handling.
• Operation of overhead cranes, forklifts or similar production equipment.
• Physical ability to perform demanding industrial tasks.
