Product Development Director - Luxury Travel

About the role

Flight Centre's My Holidays brand is looking for a Product Development Director in Broadbeach, Queensland. You will join the Product team and curate a premium selection of products for a high-net-worth clientele, helping maintain the brand's position as a leading global luxury travel provider.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the product team aligned with agreed deliverables and timelines, and share timely updates with internal and external stakeholders on milestones.
• Create a marketing budget, value-adds and inclusions, and run quality assurance.
• Analyse market pricing for resorts, hotels, trip deals, OTAs and direct deals, from deal creation through to conversion and booking.
• Strategise distribution and media plans, analyse campaign results, and draft process-flow documents for each product pillar.
• Engage with key stakeholders, network to find new products, and manage KPIs and key deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a product role within travel, leisure, retail or wholesale.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements and supplier partnerships.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering products from concept to launch.
• Experience managing and developing team members, including coaching and performance management.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing revenue-focused initiatives and budgets.
• Experience conducting pricing analysis, competitor reviews and market assessments.

Required skills

• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, communication and influencing skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
